Leviathan, The Demon of Envy.
Envy is the scent of desire, an emotion so deeply buried that one hesitates to admit it even exists. Leviathan is neither aggressive nor loud. It does not demand attention, yet it never allows the mind to rest. This demon does not rush, instead, it slowly gnaws from within, giving rise to feelings that refuse to be named.
The fragrance opens with the fresh, juicy brightness of Apple and Mandarin Orange. Friendly and luminous, it feels like a first smile, one that quietly conceals a yearning “to possess, to become”, before the wearer is even aware of it.
At its heart, Jasmine and Mimosa unfold in soft, velvety layers. These quietly captivating florals evoke a sense of fragility and sensitivity, gently drawing the wearer into unconscious comparison.
As the scent dries down, its direction begins to shift. Cedarwood, Patchouli, and Animalic notes introduce depth, weight, and inner turbulence. Damp earth, dry woods, and raw instinct emerge, this is the moment Leviathan reveals its true nature. Dry Amber offers no comfort, no warmth, only a parched, lingering heat beneath the skin. It is the accumulation of restrained emotion: pressure that never explodes, yet never fades.
